About Us

Och 3Open-hand Children's Home Kenya (OCH) is a non-profit making Institution, founded on Christian values and principles and operating under the auspices of a competent Executive Board and a team of Administering Authority.
OCH was registered in 2003 as a Community-based Organization under the Ministry of Culture & Social Services and now it's under the Children Department, Ministry of Home Affairs. Our mission is to rescue newborn children and so far we have rescued forty-one (41) from different and indeed, deplorable circumstances.

Our Objectives

Indeed, these children do not deserve to go through these dehumanizing experiences and it is for this reason that we are doing what it takes, to give them a second chance with the focus of providing a favorable environment for our children’s development.

Och 1

For us as the founders and directors of Open Hand Children's home, it is very fulfilling to be here for these little ones as they check into our home. We nurture them and what a joy to be a parent to so many kids all over again!

We continue witnessing transformed lives and this gives us a reason to press on to the end of time.

Many Blessings
